My morning is incomplete without a large coffee and a newspaper. I do my best work under deadline pressure. I treat my First Amendment freedoms as a privilege. I can spot a poorly measured pica from a mile away. I aim for objectivity in politics, accuracy in reporting and fairness before I draw conclusions. I think journalists are heroes. Oh, and I’m a third-year J-student getting a great liberal arts education at Butler University in the heart of Indianapolis, Ind.
